A catchall mailbox is the default mailbox created when you order a site. It has privileges of your domain administrator from which you create other mailboxes and from which you can change mail domain settings. It's called a 'catchall' because all mail that are destined for mailboxes that do not exist end up in the this mailbox. This means no mail is undelivered even if someone misspelled a mailbox name.
